Madonna's 1st Covers...
Although most would agree that M's first cover was on ISLAND magazine (October, 1983), there is some evidence that M's first inclusion/appearance in a publication was in the DANCE MUSIC REPORT (DMR), a music-industry publication in New York City, which appeared in February 1983.
There is def. a second cover, which appeared on the December 10th , 1983 issue of BILLBOARD magazine. This is M's first "back cover" of a magazine [and Yes, if you are Madonna collecting even that counts] (smile).

The December 10, 1983 issue of BILLBOARD magazine featured Barbra Streisand on the front cover and a full-page ad with MADONNA on the BACK cover of the magazine! This is the only other  mag. cover M appears on in 1983. Fun fact and always a fun item to add to any collection.

Welcome to yet another Blog honoring her Madjesty! Queen M! Although we all have various ways of celebrating our iCON Madonna, those close to me know that I celebrate her marvelous career through my private collection.
